Apple Pie Recipe: Easy Filling & Crust

Apple Pie Filling: • 6 cups sliced apples • 1 cup sugar • 2 tbsps. cornstarch • 1 tbsp. lemon juice • 1 tsp. cinnamon


For the Crisco Crust: 2 cups flour • 1 tsp. salt 2/3 cup + 2 tbsp. Crisco     butter shortening • 4-6 tbsp. cold water


Line a 9" pie plate with one crust. Mix the filling ingredients together. Add filling to crust-lined plate. Add top crust, roll up edges, and poke with a fork. Bake at 400° for 40-45 minutes.
